We are proud to offer a direct wood printing service to all of our customers. Wood print is not about printing, it is a unique way of merging unique wooden texture into the final look of the art. Not all the images would benefit from the unique grain and color of the chosen wood, for some it could add too much complexity and take away from the image itself, but some pieces, when printed on wood, could not be imagined on any other media. Every wood print is as unique as wood itself and could never be duplicated. If you are in love with the natural warmth and pattern that a carefully chosen piece of wood provides, you would enjoy an art piece made of it for as long as you live. Here at Classic Graphics we would be happy to help you find a perfect wooden piece for the art you have in mind. You can choose to print on any plywood or a piece of whole wood. The best wood choices for printing are light colored woods, such as maple, birch, or poplar. Dark colored woods such as walnut and redwood make the image darker and are better suited for high contrast images with little color or black and white artworks.

You can purchase a wood piece that you like to be printed at any lumber store or trust our taste to choose one for you. Please note that prices do not include material cost, just prep work, printing and sealing. We offer custom sizes as well, please contact us for quality assistance with your art project.
